About Melissa Walter

Meet Melissa, a graduated from Indiana University with dual majors in Business Marketing and Supply Chain Management. After graduation, she ventured to Minnesota, where she found her professional footing at the Hershey Company in 2012. As fate would have it, she met her husband while living and working in Minnesota. Being a Montana native, her husband’s dream was to return to his home state. He got his wish! Upon relocating to the big sky country with her husband, Melissa earned her real estate license. This was just the beginning of a rewarding career filled with many milestones and achievements, from being honored as Rookie of the Year in 2016 to attaining her Broker license in 2023, each accomplishment has fueled her commitment to excellence in the industry. As a Realtor who is also a successful real estate investor, Melissa possesses a unique insight into the home buying process, allowing her to empathize with buyers and anticipate their needs, ultimately ensuring a seamless and satisfying experience.

Beyond professional pursuits, she is deeply involved in the real estate community, serving as a dedicated advocate and leader. Her roles as Billings RPAC Chair in 2019, 2021, and 2023, MAR RPAC Vice Chair from 2023 to 2024, and BAR Social Committee Vice Chair in 2024 reflect her unwavering dedication to shaping the future of the industry. Currently, she serves on the MAR Board of Directors and the BAR Board of Directors, leveraging her expertise to drive positive change. As she continues to expand her horizons, she is diligently working towards obtaining the CRS and ABR designations, eager to enhance her knowledge and skills to better serve her clients and community. Aside from her passion for real estate, Melissa loves to spend her free time with her husband and two beautiful daughters, along with their two furry companions.
